The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will go for their seventh straight win tonight when they face Sun Belt Conference leader Georgia State tonight at  the GSU Sports Arena.  Gametime is scheduled for 7:30 (CST) and will be televised by the Sun Belt Network, along with women's action which begins at 5pm.

The Cajuns (16-9, 9-5 Sun Belt) will get a tough test from the Panthers, who have not lost at home this season (11-0).

Georgia State (19-7, 12-1) defeated the Cajuns 77-70 at the Cajundome earlier this year.  Ironically, the Cajuns lost by the identical score in Atlanta the last time the two teams played in November, 2005.

In the earlier meeting, the Cajuns held a slim lead with 3:45 to go, but the Panthers went on a 10-0 run to pull away in the final minutes.  Sophomore R. J. Hunter, son of GSU head coach
Ron Hunter, scored 28 of his game high 33 points in the second half to lead the Panthers' comeback.  Ryan Harrow added seventeen points and Manny Atkins had eleven.  Georgia State outscored Louisiana from the free throw line 27-11.

Elfrid Payton was the top scorer for the Cajuns with 21 points while Shawn Long added 17 points and fifteen rebounds.  Bryant Mbamalu tallied eleven points.  In the first meeting the Cajuns were just 3-19 from three point range.

Elsewhere in the league tonight, UT Arlington is at UALR, Troy is at South Alabama, WKU plays host to ULM and Texas State is at Arkansas State.
