Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns baseball team is picked to finish in third place in the Sun Belt Conference for 2011.'

The Cajuns were the co champions of the league a year ago.  Louisiana returns six of the nine offensive starters and most of its pitching staff.

The biggest losses were Catcher Chad Keefer, Outfielder Kyle Olasin, First Baseban Justin Robichaux and Pitcher Zach Osborne.

Florida Atlantic, who tied for first with the Cajuns a year ago, is picked to win it again.  Coach John McCormack's squad lost only one regular on offense and returns a good part of its pitching staff.

Florida International, who won the league tournament last year, is picked second.

I acually think the coaches were pretty dead on with their picks.  Of course, the standings probably won't look like this at the end of the season, but it's hard to argue with their order.

I'll post my predictions next week.
