Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team earned national headlines earlier this week when Baseball America released their preseason poll and the Cajuns were ranked #6.

A pair of Cajuns are making headlines today as senior second baseman Stefan Trosclair and sophomore relief pitcher Dylan Moore were named to the 2016 Louisville Slugger All-American team.

Trosclair earned first-team honors. Moore was named to the third-team.

"We have a saying that baseball pays you back for the hard work that you put in," UL baseball coach Tony Robichaux said in a press release. "Both of these guys came in and have worked hard from day one. It's great when a guy can be honored for their individual achievements. But at the end of the day, I know both of them would trade the in individual honors to see the team win."

First pitch for the #6 ranked Cajuns is less than two months away when Louisiana hosts Sam Houston State in a three game series at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field beginning February 19th.
