Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team remains #2 in the country in one of the four major college baseball polls.

Louisiana is coming off a solid week on the diamond, beating Southeastern in two midweek games before taking two of three games from Arkansas State over the weekend. They still sport the best record in the NCAA (43-7), and rank as the second to best team in the Nation according to one poll.

The Cajuns, who have ranked as high as #1 this season, currently sit at #2 in one of the four major college baseball polls, remaining second in the Perfect Game poll, while falling down one spot to #3 in the USA Today/Coaches poll.

UL remains at #3 in the newly released Baseball American poll, trailing both #1 Virginia and Oregon State.

The Cajuns made their biggest jump in the latest Collegiate Baseball poll, climbing up 3 spots to #3 after ranking at #6 a week ago.

LSU ranks as high as #6 in the USA Today/Coaches poll, and as low as #15 in both Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball. The Tigers come in at #10 in Perfect Game.

Virginia ranks first in every poll except Collegiate Baseball, who tabbed Oregon State as their #1 team this week. The Beavers of Oregon State rank #2 in two polls, and #3 behind the Cajuns in Perfect Game.
