Am I the only one who is not excited about Bill Goldberg facing Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, which is set for November 20 in Toronto?

Goldberg, the former WCW and WWE Champion, returned to RAW for the first time in 12 years on Monday night, to answer Lesnar's challenge.

Look, I have all the respect in the world for both guys, and what they've met to the wrestling industry, but I'm not buying this match, simply because it doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

First off, both of these guys are part timers, which I'm not a fan of. I didn't like The Rock coming back to headline WrestleMania, or HHH winning the Royal Rumble, and I'm not excited about these two part timers headlining Survivor Series.

Now, I don't blame them. They're both legends, and getting a huge payday. They also make the company a ton of money. That being said, it's an area where I agree with CM Punk; reward your current roster, and try to make them stars, instead of having a part timer headline three shows a year.

Now on to the match; what good can come of it?

How do you book it?

How can you let Goldberg win? You book Lesnar, for years, to be this distructive monster, crushing everybody, including the Undertaker at WrestleMania, which is arguably the biggest win in wrestling history, only for him to lose to an over the hill Goldberg?

Do you really see that happening?

And let's face it, Goldberg is a "WCW guy". Vince McMahon has buried WCW guys in the past, at every chance he could get. He still loves to remind everyone he put WCW out of business. So, why in the world would WWE let Goldberg, who is now 49 years old, and hasn't wrestled in over 12 years, go over their monster?

Goldberg won the only meeting between the two, defeating Lesnar at WrestleMania XX. Are you going to let him beat him again?

That match, which was not well-received by fans, was between two guys heading out of the company. Now, here we are, 12 years later, and neither are the future.

And don't give me this "oh come on, wrestling is predetermined" business! Of course it is! But when your watching a movie, and the bad guy is pointing a water guy at the good guy, doesn't it take away something?

Of course it's a show! But it's supposed to suspend reality, at least somewhat!

Again, I have all the respect in the world for Goldberg, and I love the fact his son will get to see him work live for the first time ever...that's cool...but he's 49 years old!

And because I respect Goldberg so much, I don't like the match.

Goldberg had the 173-match win streak, has won titles, and became a legend.

So, if Lesnar wins, does Goldberg just back into the shadows? Is it just another victory for the Beast, with this one being over a 49-year old?

Wouldn't it be better if these guys were putting over younger talent?

I loved to see Goldberg take on Roman Reigns, or Lesnar go up against Bray Wyatt.

Something big has to happen for this to be worth it. Maybe there's a big swerve and Goldberg wins. Maybe Brock wins, and it forces a third match at next year's WrestleMania in a best-of-three rubber match.

There are things they can do. I just don't know that they can come up with something good enough for me.

I loved seeing Goldberg on Monday night. I loved the return, I loved the promo, and I love what Goldberg and Lesnar have done for the industry.

I just don't love this match.
