Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns caught fire in the second half of the 2010-11 season, reeling off eleven straight wins to earn a share of the Sun Belt Conference Western Division title.

The league's coaches think there might be a carry-over.

Despite losing a 1,000 point scorer, their leading rebounder and their team leader, Louisiana was picked to finish second in the West this season.

Arkansas State, who shared the division crown with the Cajuns last season, was the coaches' pick to win the West.

Those two teams were followed by North Texas, Denver, UALR and Louisiana-Monroe in the poll.

Defending east champion Florida Atlantic was picked to repeat, followed by Middle Tennessee, Western Kentucky, South Alabama, FIU and Troy.

The Cajuns were selected to appear in a Sun Belt Network television game on February 18th at North Texas.  The game will tip at 3:30pm.
