The lone Atlanta airport worker who threw eggs at the New Orleans Saints team bus last week has been punished for his actions. The Department of Aviation confirmed that Monday.

According to this article, authorities say the worker resigned after being asked to quit and having his security and access badge revoked. The unidentified employee, who works in one of the airport restaurants, allegedly threw eggs at the Saints bus shortly after the charter bus arrived at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Wednesday.

The airport says "case closed" as the Department of Aviation has now closed its investigation. The company will be fined. The Saints ended up losing their Thursday night game with the Atlanta Falcons 23-13.
