AP Poll: Oklahoma Starts at the Top…Again.

The Associated Press has released its preseason college football poll and Oklahoma is their top choice.

It's the tenth time the Sooners have been rated preseason #1 by the AP, the most of any school.

But that might not be a good thing.

The last time OU won the national championship while being ranked preseason #1 was way back in 1985.  The last time they were AP's preseason #1, they lost to LSU in the BCS title game in 2003.

Alabama is ranked second, followed by Oregon, LSU and Boise State.
