There's an old saying in sports that the rich get richer.

Not only is that true about teams, but coaches as well.

And Alabama head coach Nick Saban is walking proof.

The University announced yesterday that Saban, already the highest paid coach in college football, is getting a raise and a two-year contract extension through the 2019 season.

Saban will make $5.32 million this year with a raise every year through the remainder of the contract.

Without naming names, Saban says he was contacted about other jobs after Alabama won its second national championship since the former LSU coach arrived at the Capstone.  He said he remains committed to Alabama for the remainder of his coaching career.
