For the third-consecutive week, the Alabama Crimson Tide are the top team in this week’s College Football Playoff rankings, the sixth set of rankings of the year, which were released on Tuesday night.

At the end of the season, the top four teams in the College Football Playoff rankings will play in two semifinal games, with the winners advancing to the new College Football Championship Game.

The final set of rankings will be released on Sunday.

Alabama, who was number one for the first time last week, stays in the top spot after a 55-44 SEC win over Auburn last Saturday, which moved them to 11-1 on the season.

The Crimson Tide will take on Missouri in the SEC title game this Saturday.

Oregon, who defeated Oregon St. last week, 47-19, remain at number two in the poll, with an 11-1 record.

The Ducks will face Arizona, who defeated them earlier this year, this Friday in the Pac-12 title game.

TCU moves up one spot, from number four last week, to the third spot this week, after a 48-10 victory over Texas last Saturday.

The 10-1 Horned Frogs will host Iowa St. in their 2014 regular season finale on Saturday.

Florida St., the only remaining undefeated team at the FBS level, drop one spot, to the number four position, after a 24-19 win over Florida last Saturday.

This week, the 12-0 Seminoles square off with Georgia Tech in the ACC title game.

Ohio St., who defeated Michigan, 42-28, last Saturday, to improve to 11-1 on the season, is up to number five this week.

The TCU Horned Frogs, who is 10-1, and who was idle last week, is number five again this week.

Baylor, Arizona, Michigan St., Kansas St., and Mississippi St.

Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Wisconsin, Georgia, and UCLA are ranked 11-15, respectively, followed by Missouri, Arizona St., Clemson, Auburn, and Oklahoma in the 16-20 spots.

Finally, at 21-25, are Louisville, Boise St., Utah, LSU, and USC.
