Zion Williamson Chooses Agent, Signs With CAA

So much for that notion that Zion Williamson might head back to Duke or play overseas instead of signing with an agency and being drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans. On Thursday morning Zion has chosen an agency and it's CAA Sports:

It's being reported by NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski that the CAA agents that will represent Williamson will be Austin Brown and Lisa Joseph-Metelus.

CAA Sports represents a bundle of top-level NBA talent including, Joel Embiid, Paul George, Karl-Anthony Towns, Donovan Mitchell, D'Angelo Russell, Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and Dwyane Wade.

So, this is just another step closer to the Pelicans being able to draft Zion number one overall in the upcoming 2019 NBA Draft on June 20th.
