Women’s College World Series – Day 2 Schedule
The second day of the Women's College World Series, featuring two winners bracket games, will take place on Friday at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The top-seeded Florida Gators will take on the 5th-seeded LSU Tigers, in a match-up of SEC foes, at 6 o'clock (central time), followed by the third-seeded Michigan Wolverines meeting the 7th-seeded UCLA Bruins at approximately 8:30 pm.
Florida, the defending national champions, defeated fellow SEC member Tennessee, 7-2, in the opening game of the event on Thursday, while LSU knocked off another SEC member, Auburn, 6-1, to also advance.
Meanwhile, Michigan shutout 2014 runners-up Alabama, 5-0, while UCLA disposed of Oregon, 7-1.
On Saturday, the first games of the elimination bracket will take place, with Auburn facing Tennessee at 11 am, followed by Alabama meeting Oregon at 1:30 pm.
