Women's basketball standout Kia Wilridge and baseball relief pitcher Dylan Moore were honored today as Ragin' Cajuns Student-Athletes of the Year.

Each coach nominated a student-athlete on the basis of their success in academics, athletics, leadership and community involvement.

Wilridge, a senior exercise science major, has been named to the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List, the UL President's and Dean's lists.  She helped lead the Cajuns to consecutive Women's Basketball Invitational Championships and was twice named to the All Sun Belt Conference teams.

Moore, a sophomore 4.0 student majoring in Political Science-Pre Law/Spanish, holds the regular season and career mark for saves, with 13 saves in 2015 and 23 so far in his career.  He was a Freshman All-American and was named second team All Sun Belt as a freshman.

Softball's Shellie Landry and Men's Basketball's Steven Wronkoski were named as the Silver Medalists.

Also honored as Student-Athletes of the Year for their respective sports were: Lindsay Brammer (Women's Soccer), Melissa Burckhartt (Women's Tennis), Anna Katherine Devitt (Women's Track and Field/Cross Country), Beau Robinson (Men's Track and Field/Cross Country), Edgar Lopez (Men's Tennis), Haraldur Magnus (Men's Golf), Stacey Reilly (Women's Volleyball) and Dominique Tovell (Football).
