In the other games:

COASTAL CAROLINA 36, TROY 35--C. J. Marable scored on a three yard touchdown run and then scored a two point conversion on the second try to give the Chanticleers (4-4, 1-3) their first league win of the season.  The first try at the two point conversion was no good, but Troy was called for pass interference, allowing Marable to sweep for the winning score.  Troy had taken a seven point lead with just over eight minutes left.  Bryce Carpenter threw for 285 yards and a score to lead Coastal.  Troy dropped to 3-5, 1-3 in the Sun Belt.

ARKANSAS STATE 48, ULM 41--The Warhawks jumped out to a 21-3 lead, but Arkansas State scored 28 unanswered points in the second quarter to take a 31-28 lead at the break.  ULM (3-5, 2-2) tied the game at 34 in the third quarter, but the Red Wolves (5-4, 3-2) scored 14 straight points to take the lead for good.  Marcel Murray rushed for a career high 175 yards and three scores, while ULM's Caleb Evans accounted for 365 yards total offense and five touchdowns.

EAST STANDINGS:  Appalachian State 4-1, Georgia State 3-1, Georgia Southern 3-1, Coastal Carolina 1-3, Troy 1-3

WEST STANDINGS:  Louisiana 3-1, Arkansas State 3-2, ULM 2-2, Texas State 1-3, South Alabama 0-4
