A win over a Power Five Conference school, a long-awaited road win and the beginning of conference play highlighted Sun Belt play over the weekend.

TROY 23, NEBRASKA 19--The Trojans (2-1) jumped out to a 17-0 lead and held on to beat a P5 school for the second straight year.  Will Sunderland's interception in the final three minutes iced the game for Troy, a team that won in Baton Rouge last year.

ARKANSAS STATE 29, TULSA 20--It had been over 3,000 days since Arkansas State won a road game out of conference.  But that long streak was broken on Saturday.  Justice Hansen threw for 191 yards and ran for 80 more and Demari Medley had a pick six for the Red Wolves (2-1).

SOUTH ALABAMA 41, TEXAS STATE 31--Evan Orth threw for 266 yards including a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns and Jamarius Way had 173 receiving yards to lead South Alabama (1-2, 1-0) to the come from behind win.  Willie Jones III led the Bobcats (1-2, 0-1) to a 17-3 first quarter advantage by throwing for one score and running for another.
