Lafayette native Lauren Daigle brought down the house at the National Championship with her soulful rendition of the 'Star Spangled Banner.'

Daigle is a former LSU student and the GRAMMY award-winning songstress did her alma mater proud with a performance of the national anthem that brought many viewers to tears. The 28-year-old contemporary Christian music singer broke the record for the most consecutive weeks at No. 1 by a solo artist on the Billboard Christian songs chart at 66 weeks.
