We all want to yell "USA! USA! USA!" whenever the US Men's National Team plays. Unfortunately on Tuesday, they had to play Argentina.

Argentina is a juggernaut, and they have the best player in the world in Lionel Messi. "The Little Magician" works wonders with the ball, and he and the Argentines cut up the USMNT for a 4-0 defeat in the Copa America Semifinal.

Jurgen Klinsmann's men were simply outmatched. Their defense couldn't stop Argentina's passing, and Messi's skill was too much to handle. Clint Dempsey and the rest of the strikers were playing from behind, and they didn't even sniff the goal due to the ball control by their opponent. You can be mad about some losses, but when Messi plays like he did on Tuesday, there's not much you can do.

Messi finished the game off with the final goal at the 87' mark, but he painted his most beautiful masterpiece with a curling free kick earlier in the game.

That strike made him the leading goal scorer in the history of Argentina. He put his name in the record books with style, didn't he?

The Americans are still knocking on the door in the futbol world. This loss was another reminder that the top tier is still a ways off for the USMNT. Clubs like Argentina live and breath "the beautiful game," and it looks like the folks waving red, white and blue are going to have to wait a while before they make it into the V.I.P. of the sporting world.

Back to the drawing board, Jurgen. If you want to compete with the best, it's going to take more work. For now, third place in the Copa America is going to have to be good enough, if they can still earn that.
