UL’s O’Cyrus Torrence Named to All-Freshman Team

Louisiana Ragin' Cajun offensive lineman O'Cyrus Torrence is getting some well-deserved recognition for his outstanding freshman campaign.

A right guard, Torrence was recently named a first-team member of the Pro Football Focus College All-Freshman Team.

A native of Greensburg, Louisiana, and a graduate of St. Helena Central, Torrence appeared in all 13 games as a freshman, helping Louisiana to a school-record 10 wins, and a first-place finish in the Sun Belt Conference West Division.

The 6-foot-5, 342-pound Torrence, along with his teammates, will be appearing in the LendingTree Bowl, scheduled for Monday, January 6 in Mobile, Alabama, when Louisiana squares off against Miami (Ohio).
