The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns may be losing a member of their 2019 11-win team who is eligible to return.

Safety Brenndan Johnson, who spent last season with Louisiana, after playing the first two seasons of his collegiate at Texas-San Antonio, has reportedly entered the transfer portal and may play elsewhere next season as a graduate transfer.

There is no guarantee that Johnson will not be playing for Louisiana next season, but it is likely.

Someone in the transfer portal can take their name off of it at any time.

Johnson appeared in 12 games for the Cajuns in 2019, mostly on special teams and as a reserve nickel back, compiling 14 tackles.

A native of Waco, Texas, Johnson attended Midway High School, prior to signing with Navy in 2015.

Following a redshirt season at UTSA in 2016, Johnson compiled 21 tackles in 2017, before accumulating 31 stops in the 2018 season.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Johnson graduated last May, making him eligible to play immediately at UL in 2019.

Johnson will have one year of eligibility remaining.
