Josh Johnson rushed for 114 yards and a pair of touchdowns to spark ULM to a 24-14 win over Texas State in San Marcos, TX Thursday night.

The redshirt junior from Opelika, AL has now rushed for over 100 yards in four games this season.  He scored from a yard out on ULM's first possession of the game and added an eight yard run in the second quarter which gave the Warhawks a 14-0 advantage.

ULM (3-3, 2-0 Sun Belt) led 17-7 at the half but Texas State (2-4, 1-1) got to within three on a Tyler Vitt touchdown pass at the end of the third quarter to get the Bobcats within three points.

The Warhawks put together a solid drive in the fourth quarter, moving 86 yards on 13 plays, a drive that consumed 6:41.  Austin Vaughn scored from eleven yards out to put the game away with just 1:46 remaining.

ULM travels to Appalachian State next week.  Texas State has the week off.
