A former starter on a two-time national title softball team has joined the coaching staff at a Sun Belt Conference school.

Former Oklahoma catcher Lea Wodach has been named the new pitching coach at ULM.

A four-year starter for Oklahoma, from 2015-2018, Wodach helped the Sonners to back-to-back national championships in 2016 and 2017.

As a player, Wodach was a career .257 lifetime hitter, including 12 home runs.

Wodach spent the 2019 season as a student assistant at Oklahoma.

ULM, under first-year head coach Molly Fichtner, went 14-42 last season, including a 7-17 mark in Sun Belt Conference play, as well as a semifinal berth in the postseason tournament.
