UL/LSU Baseball Both Up In RPI Rankings
Where are the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns and the LSU Tigers in the latest college baseball ratings percentage index (RPI) poll of 2018, which was released on Monday?
Well, both teams are on the rise from last week.
Louisiana, who went 4-1 last week, is up seven spots, to #61 this week.
The Cajuns, who defeated Louisiana Tech and UNO in non-conference action, before winning 2-of-3 from Georgia St. in a Sun Belt Conference series, is currently 26-20 on the season.
LSU, who went 2-2 last week, is #53 this week, up five spots from a week ago.
The Tigers, who beat Lamar in non-conference action last week, before dropping 2-of-3 in an SEC series to Ole Miss, is 26-19 on the season.
Florida is the top team in this week's RPI rankings, followed by Stanford, Texas Tech, North Carolina, and Arkansas.
At 6-10, it's Auburn, Ole Miss, Georgia, Oregon St., and Clemson.
The top ranked Sun Belt Conference school is Coastal Carolina, at #23..
