UL Women’s Basketball Scheduled To Take On Ole Miss

For the second-consecutive year, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will be facing both SEC women's basketball programs from the state of Mississippi.

Yesterday, we told you that Mississippi St., one of the top programs in the nation, will be making a trip to the Cajundome on Monday, December 16.

The non-conference match-up will mark the third-consecutive year that the two programs meet, with Mississippi St. winning games in Jackson and Starkville, in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

The Bulldogs have been one of the elite programs over the last three seasons, advancing to three-straight NCAA Elite 8 appearances, as well as back-to-back Final Four appearances in 2017 and 2018, while compiling an overall record of 104-10.

We also learned yesterday, after Ole Miss released its schedule, that four nights later, on Friday, December 20, Louisiana will travel to Oxford, Mississippi to take on the Rebels.

UL fell to Ole Miss, 79-57, on the road last season.

The Cajuns' complete schedule will be announced at a later date.
