UL Women Picked 8th In SBC Preseason Poll

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are picked to finish in the second division in the race for the 2019-2020 Sun Belt Conference women's basketball crown.

Louisiana is picked 8th in the Sun Belt Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, which was released on Wednesday.

Little Rock is picked first, followed by Troy, UTA, South Alabama, Appalachian St., and Georgia St., at 2-6, respectively.

In the second division, in spots 7-12, the coaches project Coastal Carolina, Louisiana, Texas St., Arkansas St., Georgia Southern, and ULM, in that order.

The Cajuns open their 2019-2020 regular season schedule on Thursday, October 7, when they play host to Loyola-New Orleans.
