Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball team fell on the road in Sun Belt Conference action on Wednesday evening, dropping a 75-64 decision to the WKU Lady Toppers, in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

WKU led at the half, 32-28, and then out-scored Louisiana, 43-36, in the second half, to capture the 11-point win.

The Lady Toppers out-shot the Cajuns from the field, 46%-42%, and also finished with a 38-30 rebound advantage.

Alexis Govan led WKU in scoring , with a game-high 25 points, while Sylvana Okde paced Louisiana in a losing cause, with 22 points.

With the victory, the Lady Toppers improved to 14-3 overall, and 7-1 in Sun Belt Conference play, while the Cajuns fell to 7-11 overall, and 1-8 in league play.

Louisiana returns to action on Saturday, when they travel to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to take on Middle Tennessee.
