Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball team returns to the hardwood on Wednesday night, when coach Garry Broadhead's squad plays host to the North Texas Mean Green, in Sun Belt Conference action at Earl K. Long Gym.

Louisiana was last in action on Wednesday of last week, when they fell to FIU, 64-63, in overtime, extending their losing streak to seven games, and dropping them to 7-13 overall, and 1-10 in Sun Belt Conference play.

North Texas lost to to UALR, 52-48, last Saturday, extending their current losing streak to three game, and dropping them to 7-13 overall, and 6-5 in league play.

The Cajuns will be looking to avenge a 71-59 loss to North Texas in the previous meeting earlier this year, back on December 1.

Freshman guard Sylvana Okde leads Louisiana in scoring, averaging 11.4 points-per-game, while freshman forward Alexis Hyder paces North Texas at 13.0 points a contest.

Tip-off time is scheduled for 7 o'clock.
