The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns are on the rise in the seventh college softball ratings percentage index (RPI) of 2019, which was released on Monday.

Louisiana, who is currently 46-4 on the season, including a 24-0 Sun Belt Conference record, is listed at number 18 this week, up two  spots from a week ago.

The Cajuns, who have won 23-consecutive games, return to the diamond on Thursday, when they travel to Monroe, La. to take on ULM in the opening game of a three-game, Sun Belt Conference series, which will represent the final three games of the regular season.

Oklahoma is the top team in this week's RPI listings, followed by UCLA, Arizona, Washington, and Florida St..

6-10 consists of Texas, Florida, LSU, Alabama, and Minnesota.

Louisiana is the highest ranked Sun Belt Conference school, followed by Troy (#58), Texas St. (#59), UTA (#62), Coastal Carolina (#92), Appalachian St. (#105), South Alabama (#142), Georgia Southern (#173), Georgia St. (#218), and ULM (#231).
