Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team continues their quest for the 2012 Women's College world Series on Thursday night, when they take on the Arizona St. Sun Devils, in the opening game of a best-of-three-game NCAA Super Regional series.

Arizona St. is 49-8 overall on the year, and is the #3-national seed, while Louisiana currently stands at 52-4, and is the #14-national seed.

The Cajuns defeated the Sun Devils, 9-2, back on March 15, at the Judi Garman Classic, in Fullerton California.

Arizona St., who are the defending national champions, and has also won two titles in the last four years, leads the all-time series, 5-3.

Louisiana, who has qualified for Super Regional play in three of the past five years, in looking for their first Women's College World Series appearance since 2008.

First-pitch is scheduled for 9:05 pm.
