The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will be adding an experienced middle-infielder to their 2021 roster.

Last week, Louisiana announced the signing of shortstop Rebeca Laudino, a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, as an addition to their 2021 signing class.

Currently enrolled at Florida Southwestern State College in Fort Myers, Fla., Laudino has also played for the Brazilian national team for the last three years.

As a freshman at Florida Southwestern St. last season, Laudino hit .527, a new school record, while accumulating 98 hits, nine doubles, five triples, four home runs, 80 runs scored, 35 runs batted in, and 43 stolen bases.

Laudino also set a new collegiate softball record, putting together a 49-games hitting streak.
