The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns have cracked the top ten in one of the major college softball polls.

Louisiana is up three spots, to number 10, in the latest USA Today/NFCA Division I Coaches Poll, which was released on Tuesday.

Louisiana won the Louisiana Classics at Lamson Park last weekend, going 5-0, to improve to a perfect 11-0 on the season.

UL is currently on their longest season-opening win streak since 2015, when they won their first 14 games.

The Cajuns return to action this weekend, when they travel to Waco, Texas, to take part in the Baylor Invitational, which will also feature Baylor, North Texas, and Kent St.

Florida St., the defending national champions, who are off to an 11-0 start, remains the top team in this week's poll, with UCLA, Florida, Oklahoma, Washington rounding out the top five.

Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, and Louisiana are ranked 6-10, respectively.

At 11-15, it's Texas, Arkansas, Arizona St., Arizona, and South Carolina, followed by Kentucky, Oregon, James Madison, Indiana, and Oklahoma St. at 16-20.

Finally, at 21-25, Baylor, Auburn, Texas Tech, Minnesota, and Illinois round out the poll.
