The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns have climbed a couple spots in the latest college softball ratings percentage index (RPI) poll, which was released on Monday.

Louisiana, who is currently 29-5 on the season, including a perfect 12-0 Sun Belt Conference record, ranks number 31 this week, which is a two-spot jump from last week.

The Cajuns, who swept a three-game conference series from Troy last weekend, plays host to Southeastern Louisiana in a non-conference tilt on Tuesday night, before traveling to San Marcos, Texas to take on the Texas St. Bobcats this weekend, in a three-game conference set.

Arizona is the top team in the RPI rankings, followed by Auburn, Florida, Texas A&M, and UCLA in the top 5.

6-10 consists of Florida St., Washington, Oregon, Baylor, and LSU.

Tennessee, Alabama, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Michigan are at 11-15, while BYU, California, Utah, Kentucky, and James Madison round out the top 20.

Georgia, South Carolina, Arizona St., Marshall, and Illinois are in the 21-25 spots, respectively.

Texas St. is the highest ranked Sun Belt Conference school (#28), followed by Louisiana (#31), Georgia St. (#61), South Alabama (#62), Georgia Southern (#82), Coastal Carolina (#85), ULM (#92), UTA (#104), Troy (#112), and Appalachian St. (#196).
