Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun softball team is down, three spots, to number ten, in the second college softball ratings percentage index (RPI) rankings, was released by the NCAA on Monday.

Louisiana won all three of their games last week, sweeping Sun Belt Conference from the Appalachian St. Mountaineers over the weekend.

The Cajuns are currently 35-6, overall, and 16-1 in conference play.

This week, Louisiana travels to Statesboro, Georgia to take on the Georgia Southern Eagles in a Sun Belt Conference series on Saturday and Sunday.

Florida tops the RPI rankings again this week. followed by Michigan, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Auburn in the top five.

James Madison is ranked sixth, followed by Oregon, Washington, Florida St., and Louisiana at 6-10, respectively.

The second ten this week consists of Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Baylor, and LSU in spots 11-15, with UCLA, USF, Fresno St., Georgia, and Arizona in the 16-20 positions.

Finally, at 21-25 this week, it’s Minnesota, Texas A&M, FAU, Utah, and Notre Dame.

In the Sun Belt Conference, Louisiana ranks first, followed by South Alabama (44), Texas St. (46), Georgia St. (55), Troy (64), UT-Arlington (78), Georgia Southern (99), ULM (162), and Appalachian St. (221).
