It's looking like a great day and night, weather-wise, in Lafayette, where the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns host the Texas St. Bobcats in a huge Sun Belt Conference game.

The forecast is calling for mostly clear skies throughout the day and with no mention of rain for this year's homecoming game, but it will be on the cool side.

The afternoon high will warm up to around 61 degrees before falling into the 50's throughout the game.

Temps should be in the lower 40's early Saturday morning, before warming up to right around 50 by 10 am, and then into the mid-upper 50's for most of tailgating and a lot of the homecoming festivities.

Temps should be right around 60 degrees for the scheduled 4 pm kickoff time at Cajun Field.

Louisiana, who has won five of their last six games, is currently 5-2 on the season, including a 2-1 Sun Belt Conference mark, while Texas St. will enter at 2-5, 1-2, respectively.

You can hear all the play-by-play on ESPN 1420, espn1420.com, and the ESPN 1420 mobile app, beginning with the Tailgate Show at 2 pm.

In addition, the game can be heard on as Hot 107.9, 1079ishot.com, and the Hot 107.9 mobile app, beginning with the official pregame show at 3 o'clock.

The game can be viewed on ESPN+.

Kickoff time is set for 4 pm.
