Are the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns going to be good enough in 2019 to play in their second-consecutive bowl game, and 7th in the last 8 years?

Well, at least one major media outlet seems to think so.

Brad Crawford, of 247Sports, projects Louisiana to play in the Camilia Bowl, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 21, at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama.

The Cajuns' projected opponent is Western Michigan, a school out of the Mid-American Conference.

Yes, it's way too early for bowl projections, but these are fun, and it helps get you ready for the upcoming football season.

UL went 7-7 last season, their first under head coach Billy Napier, including a spot in the inaugural Sun Belt Conference Championship Game, a 30-19 setback to Appalachian St., as well as a 41-24 loss to Tulane in the Cure Bowl.

Louisiana opens their 2019 season on Saturday, August 31, when they take on the Mississippi St. Bulldogs at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Also of note; 247Sports projects LSU to play in the Sugar Bowl, against Oklahoma, and project their 4-team College Football Playoff Field as being Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, and Michigan.
