UL Football Offers Julius Coates

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns have offered a football scholarship to a defensive standout from the junior college ranks.

Louisiana has offered Julius Coates, a defensive end who currently attends East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, Mississippi.

Originally from Rockford, Illinois, the 6-foot-5, 270-pound Coates is scheduled to eligible at the Division I level next season.

Coates has also reportedly been offered by Colorado and Western Kentucky.
