The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns would like to add some experienced help to their secondary.

Set to begin his sophomore year at the JC level in the fall, Jones will once again be eligible at the Division I level in 2020.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Jones  originally signed with Southern Miss, where he appeared in 6 games as a freshman in 2018.

A native of Brookhaven, Mississippi, Jones played his prep football at Brookhaven High School, where where he registered 39 tackles, two interceptions, six pass breakups, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal as a senior, garnering First-Team Class 5A All-State honors by the Mississippi Association of Coaches.

Jones has also reportedly been offered by such schools as Louisville, Charlotte, and ULM.
