The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are on the rise in the latest ESPN College Football Power Index, which was released on Sunday.

Louisiana is up four spots, to #85 in this week's ESPN Power Index.

UL won their home opener on Saturday night, defeating the Liberty Flames, 35-14, at Cajun Field.

The Cajuns are back at home this Saturday night at Cajun Field when they play host to Texas Southern in a non-conference contest.

Alabama is ranked atop the ESPN Power Index, with Clemson, LSU, Georgia, and Penn St. at 2-5, respectively.

Appalachian St., at #69, is listed as the highest-rated school from the Sun Belt Conference.
