The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are once again on the rise in the latest ESPN College Football Power Index, which was released on Sunday.

Following a bye week, Louisiana has moved up one spot, to #52 in the ESPN Power Index.

This marks the second-straight week, including six of the last seven, that the Cajuns have either climbed or remained the same in the Power Index.

UL was last in action on Thursday, October 17 when they defeated the Arkansas St. Red Wolves, to improve to 5-2, overall, and 2-1 in Sun Belt Conference play.

The Cajuns return to action on Saturday afternoon, when they play host to the Texas St. Bobcats in a key Sun Belt Conference affair.

The Power Index now projects Louisiana to win 10 games this season and ranks their remaining schedule as one of the easiest, listing it at #130 among 130 FBS schools.

Ohio St. is ranked atop the ESPN Power Index, with Alabama., Clemson, LSU, and Penn St.

Appalachian St. is the highest-rated school from the Sun Belt Conference, at #42, followed by Louisiana.
