The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are on the rise once again in the latest ESPN College Football Power Index, which was released on Sunday.

Louisiana jumped up 17 spots, to #68 in this week's ESPN Power Index.

UL won their second-consecutive game on Saturday night, defeating the Texas Southern Tigers, 77-6, at Cajun Field.

The Cajuns are on the road this Saturday when they travel to Athens, Ohio to take on the Ohio Bobcats in a non-conference contest.

The Power Index now projects Louisiana to win 8 games this season and ranks their remaining schedule as one of the easiest, ranking at #105 among 130 FBS schools.

Alabama is ranked atop the ESPN Power Index, with Clemson, Georgia, LSU, and Ohio St.

Louisiana is listed as the highest-rated school from the Sun Belt Conference, with Appalachian St. next at #72.
