The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are on the rise once again in the latest ESPN College Football Power Index, which was released on Sunday.

Louisiana jumped up nine spots, to #59 in this week's ESPN Power Index.

UL won their third consecutive game on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Ohio Bobcats, 45-25, in Athens, Ohio.

The Cajuns are on the road this Saturday when they travel to Statesboro, Georgia to open up Sun Belt Conference play against the Georgia Southern Eagles.

The Power Index now projects Louisiana to win 9 games this season and ranks their remaining schedule as one of the easiest, ranking at #101 among 130 FBS schools.

Alabama is ranked atop the ESPN Power Index, with Clemson, Ohio St., Georgia, and LSU.

Louisiana is listed as the highest-rated school from the Sun Belt Conference, with Appalachian St. next at #64.
