The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are still pursuing a prep defensive standout from the state of Louisiana, despite him being committed to a Power 5 school.

Louisiana seems to still be heavily recruiting Alven Johnson, a defensive end from Thrive Academy in Baton Rouge, despite his verbal commitment to Baylor.

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Johnson, who is scheduled to graduate next spring, was officially offered by the Cajuns last month.

Johnson has also reportedly been offered by such schools as Virginia and UAB.
