Trey Amos may be a Louisiana Ragin' Cajun football commitment, but that isn't stopping one SEC team from trying to get him to change his mind.

An athlete who currently attends Catholic-New Iberia in New Iberia, Louisiana, Amos was recently offered by Tennessee.

A quarterback at Catholic-New Iberia, Amos issued a verbal pledge to Louisiana back in August.

Verbal commitments are non-binding, meaning that commitments can continue to be recruited by other schools until the recruit officially signs.

The 6-foot, 173-pound Amos, who projects as a cornerback at the collegiate level, was recently ranked by 247Sports as the #59 recruit in the state of Louisiana.

Amos, the 2019 Class 2A state champion in the long jump, is scheduled to graduate next spring.

Other schools that have also reportedly offered Amos include Southern Miss, Arkansas St., Louisiana Tech, ULM, South Alabama, Nicholls St., Southern, and Northwestern St.
