UL Basketball Signs Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas, a Louisiana prep basketball standout from Lake Charles, will be playing his future college basketball for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.

A 6-foot-1 guard who attends Hamilton Christian, Thomas signed a National Letter-of-Intent with Louisiana for the 2020-21 season on Monday.

Thomas committed to the Cajuns back in February.

Last season, as a junior, Thomas averaged 16.9 points per game, while leading Hamilton Christian to the Class 1A championship game.

A two-time, Class 1A All-State performer, Thomas has averaged 15.5 points, 7.2 assists, 7.0 rebounds and 4.3 steals per game over his prep career.
