The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns will have a new addition to their 2019-2020 men's basketball roster.

The 6-foot-5, 185-pound Caldwell, who played last season at Dayton St. (Florida) College, will have three years of eligibility remaining at Louisiana, beginning next season.

After originally signing with Buffalo, Caldwell went to Daytona St. College, where he averaged 7.9 points, to go along with 3.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists-per-game.

A native of Houston, Texas, Cadwell averaged 16 points, five rebounds and six assists as a senior, helping Klein Forest High School to a combined 62-7 record in his final two years of play.

The addition of Cadwell marks the fifth signee to next year's Louisiana roster, joining Javonne Lowery (Pearland, Texas), Chris Spenkuch (Miami, Fla.), Mylik Wilson (Rayville, La.) and junior post player Tirus Smith (Richton, Miss.).
