Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team fell in non-conference action on Sunday, dropping a 10-2 decision to the Central Michigan Chippewas, in the final game of a four-game, weekend series at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

Central Michigan scored the first seven runs of the game, plating five in the first, and two in the third, before coasting to the 8-run win, salvaging the final game of the four-game set.

Jordan Adams and Neal Jacobs each collected two hits for the Chippewas, while Adams and Randon Henika each blasted home runs in a nine-hit attack.

In a losing cause for Louisiana, Ryan Leonards and Joe Robbins both collected base hits, and each drove in a run.

Rick Dodridge (1-0) recorded the win for Central Michigan, throwing six innings, and allowing only one run, while Rick Wilson (0-1) suffered the loss for the Cajuns, allowing six runs over the first two innings, with only two of them earned.

With the win, Central Michigan improved to 1-3 on the year, while Louisiana fell to 3-1.

The Cajuns return to action on Wednesday, hosting Northwestern St.
