Tyree Skipper Commits To UL Football
The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns have received a commitment from a prep standout from the state of Louisiana.
Tyree Skipper, from Sophie B. Wright High School in New Orleans, issued a verbal pledge to UL on Tuesday.
Skipper, who was recruited as an athlete, plays both quarterback and safety in high school.
Likely projecting more as a defensive back at the collegiate level, Skipper was originally offered by the Cajuns in June.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Skipper will begin his senior season in the fall, and is scheduled to graduate next spring.
Skipper was also reportedly offered by such schools as Southeastern Louisiana, McNeese, and Louisiana College.
