Two LSU Tigers Earn SEC Player Of The Week Honors

LSU got a number of strong performances in Saturday night's narrow win over Mississippi State. Two Tigers were honored today for their efforts.

Defensive end Arden Key earned SEC defensive lineman of the week honors today, earning recognition for his 2 sack, forced fumble and 5 tackle performance Saturday, including a game-clinching sack near the end of regulation.

Joining Key is punter Josh Growden, who shares this week's SEC Special Teams POW honor with Alabama returner Eddie Jackson.

With an impressive average of 49.2 yards on 5 punts against MSU, Growden's punts of 61 and 65 yards were big difference makers.

LSU (2-1, 1-0) travels to Auburn Saturday for a 5:00 pm showdown with the Tigers from Alabama.
