A Sun Belt Conference school is losing their leading passer from last season.

A Florida native, Smith became the starting quarterback for Troy last season, following an injury to Kaleb Barker last fall.

Smith passed for 1,669 yards and 14 touchdowns, to go along with 191 rushing yards and a touchdown as a redshirt sophomore last season.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Smith has two more years of eligibility remaining, although he will have to sit out the upcoming 2019 season, if he lands at another FBS program.
