It's time for a look back at another one of the top ten Louisiana Ragin' Cajun softball moments from 2018.

The 2018 college softball season was another special one for Louisiana.

The Cajuns were ranked in the top 25 all season, qualified for postseason play for the 19th-consecutive year, and finished the season with a sparkling 41-16 record.

Over the next few days, I'll look at ten of the UL softball moments of the 2018 season.

In this segment, a memorable postseason for Lexie Comeaux.

After a solid season, Comeaux, a junior catcher, turned in on in the postseason, especially in the Baton Rouge Regional.

After going 3-for-6, combined, over Louisiana's first two games against Houston and Fordham, Comeaux came through with her best performance of the year against Houston in the elimination final.

A junior from Tomball, Texas, Comeaux put on a show against Houston, going 3-for-3, including two home runs and two runs batted in.

Comeaux's heroics helped the Cajuns into the regional final against LSU.

In the regional, Comeaux went 7-for-16, to go along with two homers, one double, five runs scored, and six RBI's.

They say that big time players step up in key games. Well, based on her performance against Houston, and he work in the regional, one would have to say that Comeaux did just that.

For the season, Comeaux ended up hitting a very respectable .303 with 6 homers and 32 RBI's.

But Comeaux's 2018 season might best be remembered for what she accomplished in the postseason, especially what she did on May 19, 2018, with her superb performance against Houston.
