 When the New Orleans Hornets select Anthony Davis with the number one overall pick in the NBA Draft tonight, every analyst and prognosticator will praise the pick, calling it a "no brainer." And they'll be right. Drafting Davis is the opposite of a mistake. However, many teams have made huge NBA Draft mistakes in the past which have haunted their franchise since.

Whether it's the Hawks selection of Marvin Williams over Deron Williams and Chris Paul, or the Blazers infamous selection of Sam Bowie (pictured left) over some guy named Michael Jordan, drafts of the past have given us plenty of memory mistakes.
